Many things may seem important.
Only a few are truly essential. Let’s begin there.
About Ilse
Health is not a fixed state, but a continuous interplay between body, mind and environment. How you live, think, eat, move, breathe, rest and connect with others: everything interacts, and everything plays a role.
When this balance is disrupted, there is not always an immediate diagnosis. Yet the body often signals that something is out of alignment: fatigue, restlessness, a loss of direction, or the quiet sense that the way you live or work no longer truly fits.
In my work, I support people who recognise this. Reflective individuals who carry a great deal, who often function well on the outside, yet notice that their energy, body or sense of direction no longer moves with the same natural flow.

Three connected layers
What I have learned over the years is that health and wellbeing ask for attention to three deeply connected layers:
Knowledge & understanding: recognising how the body, nervous system and psyche interact, and what is needed to support health and balance.
Awareness & self-knowledge: learning to listen to the signals of the body, recognising what nourishes and what depletes, and sensing what truly aligns with you.
Movement & action: taking the right steps towards recovery, fulfilment and vitality.
There is an overwhelming amount of information available about health, nutrition and wellbeing, and clarity is easily lost. My work centres on bringing that clarity back. Distinguishing between noise and what is truly essential for you. Understanding what is happening within your body, and translating that insight into practical guidance you can move forward with.
How I work
I combine my background in communication, coaching, complementary therapy and KPNI with over twenty years of experience in coaching, training and writing. In my work, I bridge science and practice, knowledge and experience, head and heart.
What I value most is making complex health-related themes understandable. Together, we explore the essence of what is truly present — on a personal, professional or team level — creating space to both feel and understand what is genuinely needed.
I work one-to-one, in small groups and within organisations, always attuned to context: what is needed for this person, this team, this particular phase. Within organisations, attention often lies with the underlying dynamics, what is not always spoken, yet clearly felt and influential.

The gentle path
What drives me is the belief that change does not need to be forceful or dramatic. We are often led to believe that success requires more discipline, more control or yet another plan. Yet pushing harder is rarely sustainable.
True change often begins when we slow down and learn to listen to the body, to our emotions and to the underlying current of our life or work. Sometimes, the smallest shift becomes the starting point for something significant.
The gentle path is neither vague nor passive. It is a path of attention, awareness, self-respect and action. Of understanding, experiencing and acting, in that exact order.
